About the Yarn

Batik

Batik is a wool and acrylic yarn with a lovely round twist to it. The colour effect is a painted semi-solid look that gives beautifully subtle tonal hues when knitted up. The original palette was influenced by the rich and opulent colours of Morocco but the range has expanded to include more subtle shades too.

Batik Elements is the sister yarn to Batik DK and here the painterly effect has been used to make a beautiful melangeyarn using many colours in each shade.The yarn has a round characteristic and is a wool and acrylic mix. You can use it with Batik or Life DK to create striped effects.
