Materials required:
Lots & lots of scraps for the backgrounds & applique (a combination of wool,felt,fabric was used by Elaine).
1/2 meter for the lining.
Fat 1/4 for the base (or you can piece it from scraps).
1/2 meter of flat wadding.
1/2 meter approx of bondaweb if you wish to bond appliques.
An assortment of buttons to decorate - including 2 x 1" buttons for handle.
An assortment of embroidery thread.
